Currently KPI Dashboard is great for monitoring KPIs and tracking actuals. We actually use it internally also to track our forecasts. We currently define 2 indicators for every KPI. One has the f_ as prefix (for forecast) and the other one the a_ as prefix (for actual). But we are thinking about allowing customers to define "targets, forecasts and actuals" for every indicator to support more business planning.
If you believe this is a great idea, then let us know.

Yes indeed, in fact we'd like to be able to do more predictive analysis in addition to forecasting but this would be a great start.
For us is as important to show actuals as forecast figures in many of our metrics
after looking around: a quick and dirty solution could be to use a 'compare chart' and put the forecasted values as 2011 data and actuals in 2012. Only issue with this would be to keep reminding yourself that 2011 is forecast so it's a little counter-intuitive.
Julio, it is also possible to create another indicator, something like "[indicator name] - forecast" and use that indicator to add forecasted scores. then in the compare chart compare 2 indicators, your actual and forecast. It is on our roadmap to provide more out-of-the-box forecast features.
Got it. thanks
